I EAT BOYS

6W, 1M - 100 pages

After Ellie eats one of the men who sexually assaulted her and discovers that  it does nothing to quiet her rage—she joins I EAT BOYS Recovery, a support group for women struggling with the compulsion to eat men. Guided by a decades-old Cookbook and a well-intentioned new Chairwoman determined to “cure” her, Ellie begins to question whether healing means eliminating the darkest parts of ourselves—or learning how to live with them. A dark, absurdist comedy about rage, recovery, sexual violence, and the messy salvation of female friendship

Development: I EAT BOYS began its development with a scene presented in Kind Strangers Collective’s Rock Bottom, Bottoms Up in New York City (May 2025). The play later received full staged readings at Royal Family Productions (November 2025) and Ephemeral Players (April 2026). A scene from the play was also selected as a finalist at the Queens Short Play Festival at The Secret Theatre (August 2026).
