ABOUT MY WORK

Ahoy! I'm Jamie — an actor, writer, and producer living in the heart of Manhattan. I graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University with a degree in Film, concentrating in Screenwriting through Columbia's Film & Media Studies Department.
From there, I pursued an MFA at the Actor Studio Drama School where I worked on countless plays and ended my time there playing Maggie from Cat on A Hot Tin Roof directed by the incredible Susan Aston.

My acting journey is a blend of the Method and the classical training I received in London under the mentorship of RADA professors. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of studying with some incredible talents like Larry Moss, Ann Dowd, Fiona Shaw, and Scott Freeman.

As a performer, you can catch me on TV shows like HBO’s House of Cards, The Deuce, and Apple TV+'s Little America. You can also find me performing improv in the basement of Brooklyn bars.

In the writer’s seat, I’ve crafted several one-act plays, one full act, and screenplays, with my short film winning Best Experimental Short at the New York International Film Festival.

On the producing side, I’m the co-founder of the Kind Strangers Collective, an NYC-based theater company driven by bold storytelling and a sense of play. We’re all about supporting underrepresented artists, creating opportunities for collaboration, and sharing the kind of work that excites us with the vibrant NYC community.
